Philosophy: The Range
I am in service to tending the wars within as a pathway to peace.
Our hearts can’t manage the more and more that is demanded of us when they are filled with pain. By creating truces within ourselves through spiritual wayfinding, we make more space in our life not just for what we want, but also how to offer what is naturally rising from us with spaciousness and skillfulness. A robust experience of life itself emerges through this truce, space-making, and truth-knowing.
Together, we will explore the expansive Range.
We often spend our days within a very narrow band along the spectrum of emotion and experience. It is a tightly wound space, where if we wrap ourselves too tightly, we could - quite frankly- erupt, dissolve, or disappear from ourselves. However, when we have access to the Range: the area of variation between upper and lower limits within our living experience, we create a radical state of spaciousness. We do this by taking a look under the hood into places that are uncomfortable to witness the full spectrum of light and dark. The resulting awareness opens our aperture to experience, response, and ultimately, the gifts of ourselves.
We begin with the body to disrupt learned impulses and dissolve trauma patterns.
More and more, we are learning how our body holds and remembers pain of all kinds: regret, shame, guilt, disgust. Over time, these fears and trauma can have a detrimental impact on our daily lives through dysregulated impulses and dis-ease. With deep listening and witnessing, we have the opportunity to disrupt these patterns and start to trust a deeper knowing: our inner healer. As we drop in, we re-discover our inner whisperer and healer and can begin to compost, resolve, and alchemize our darkest moments toward a clarified and confident path forward.
I will help you reconnect to and understand your inner whisperer and healer.
There will always be a new medicine to function as the antidote to our overwhelm and curiosity. However, as we are always receiving messages from the outside world, the messages from our inner selves can often get lost in the static. Through these practices, we begin to trust our innate senses and internal communication so that we can see more clearly. As we build upon this wisdom, our ability to connect to ourselves becomes stronger, and our ability to connect with others, nothing short of profound.
We are resurrecting the liberating expansiveness and reality of community.
I believe in a shared emergence. Hyperindividualism is ebbing, and our need for community is returning. The community work I provide is stewardship and facilitation of the medicine that is needed, and creating the space for the recognition and emergence of collective wisdom. Where the interconnectivity of larger family systems have receded in the west, I am bringing the rising tide to slow, pause, and stop time. That way, we get to connect to ourselves and each other to build community in a whole, and new, form.
