About
This work began long ago, before I knew it was happening, just like so many others who have walked this path. I have navigated and covered a lot of terrain emotionally, physically, and spiritually. From the literal: having lived and traveled to a lot of different places, to the metaphorical: deep experience with power transgressions against my body and spirit, I have embodied experience of how to come through the narrows. Depression, spiritual community, assault, divorce, parenting, childbirth, it feels more like my life and my journey have been in service to building capacity. I call this The Range: cultivating the sense of who I am and what I am able to sit with.
This journey to build the Range began with the plants. Having always been moved by growing things, I went deeper and moved to Northern California from the Northeast to pursue extended education in herbal medicine schooling.
This relationship resulted in the stewardship of Taproot Medicine, a plant medicine collaborative with my friend and co-owner Jessica Kleiderman. Together with our team, we craft potent herbal formulas that are as delicious as they are nourishing. For over 12 years, Taproot has stewarded the path for many women and their families to recover and grow their connections to 5 systems of health: digestion, reproduction, respiration, immunity, and nervous systems.
As Taproot continued to grow, another liminal inquiry came through and pointed me toward the work of the Q’ero Shamans of the Peruvian Andes, who hold a particular practice of seeing deeply. Some call it Shamanism, some simply call it the power to look deeply and hold clean and pristine space to support others in their understanding of self. This practice recalibrates the internal compass to allow for the exploration of what is true and what is possible without the hindrance of patterns and habits that we have accrued until now. It is this work that I have endeavored to study and hold permission to practice with others.
As a 6/2 Projector in Human Design, there is a doubling of this capacity to witness without interference the ability to vision deeply into a current moment and discern that which is hoping to emerge and puzzle piece into the present moment for a more clarified and fulfilling living moment. It is now my work to be in service and hold space - both one-on-one and in community - so that we may all see more clearly and action what is needed to grow into ourselves more fully. Whether it is a small shift that is needed, or a tidal one, I am a connector of the dots, moving from the fascial suit- the part of the system that is compressed and dehydrated to tapping into a more mycelial network of liberation and freedom in our lives.
Cultivating the Range, I have come through the narrows, and live unafraid. And through this, I offer Robust health, clearer seeing, and uprightness in all of our lived experience. So I welcome you, too.
Charlotte's very presence is a healing force that activates deep within your own cells the transformation that seeks to be listened to and acted upon. She is a gifted healer who taps into fields of knowing and awareness that few realize exist or are unable to access alone. There is a need on the journey of healing ourselves that comes from another who possesses the ability to deeply listen, receive, and hold the contents of Soul, so that we are allowed insight, guidance and support.
